What do you think about property investment in Bulgaria? I think it is very promising about good return. The ski resort Bansko is very attractive place to invest because the prices are still low, the quality that you get for that price is perfect but it depends on the company you are buying the property from. I want to buy a big apartment there but I will need some financing. Can you give me an advice about financing? I am currently negotiating with Premier Property Bulgaria -> http://www.premierapartmentsbg.com/bulgaria-property.php- they offer very qualitative exclusive off plan developments. I wouldnt touch Bulgaria but I have to say Bankso is probably the best bet for year round rental opportunity. I always like to imagine how an investment will work in practical terms in 2 years time. Bulgaria didnt have what I look for when investing, too haphazzard, to much hype, you have to keep Bulgarian company accounts (can you imagine), too much propensity for fraud (I was told local gangs target empty foreign property), just not a sound bet.

WORST OF ALL BULGARIA IS NO LONGER A TRUE MARKET. Thousands of people are reporting they cant sell and they cant let.

If you are interested Im investing in Saidia Morocco, an incredible resort (a league way way beyond anything in Bulgaria Turkey etc) and very safe. Persoannly I went for the British developer known as 'Le Jardin Du Fleur'. 40% down over next 12 months and 60% in 2009.

Beware smaller (and I mean vastly smaller) developments. They are very cheap but you might find the developers will leg - it with your dosh (always get facts, ignore your heart and ignore the brochures on smaller developments such as Asilah).

Bulgaria was probably a 'buy' 5 years ago.
