Update, sorry to say the Chairman believed that even though the company were in receipt of all documents including a clear date for deadline and even though the company misplaced those documents within their own offices for 10 days and still after that time three people were in full possession of copies of the documents but did not notice the deadline despite it being on the documents and due to them responding within 3 hours of realising that they had missed the deadline by 3 whole days and due to the obvious technical problems the company had with e-mails from one office only 3 mins walk away from the next office on the same floor he thought it only just and equitable to allow them an extension which now means we are back to the same position we were in May with all the added stress of going to and paying for a solicitor to defend the case from scratch. Justice? What justice? Am I angry? You bet your sweet .... I am. I will never ever again believe that right outrides might and that justice is available to the ordinary man. Of course the big company has lots of solicitors and money and shouts the loudest so they get their way again. The Chairman appreciated that the solicitor must have felt terrible and was devastated when she realised that she had missed the deadline, shame but what a pat on the back that she could respond so quickly once she realised, well done that girl. So the conclusion is that if you plead ignorance, lie about the whereabouts of documents, complain about your own system faults, miss your deadlines, are totally incompetent and don't notice the deadline, that is all OK as long as you have never done it before, promise never to do it again and make a response in 3 hours 2 mins even after the deadline, you will be let off. Remember that next time any one of you is due in court on a specific day, arrive 3 days late, but within 3 hrs 02 mins of realising that you missed the actual date and then tell them that your e-mail was corrupted and that although the documents arrived and were noted they went missing for 10 days then mysteriously appeared again but then not one of the three people who had the documents noticed the dates so did nothing, now you are at the court even though it is 3 days and 3 hrs 02 mins late will you be let off? I doubt it.

they wouldn't have known at the time that they would be 'BC' so wouldn't be marked as such.
