You might think it`s 3 years wasted, but I doubt very much that the camera crew do. And I agree with them. A snow leopard is a most beautiful creature, and to actually film one in the wild is absolutley stunning.
They wouldn`t be that difficult to film if we humans hadn`t ruined it for them. Too soon they only chance we`ll ever get to see many animals is go to zoos or safari parks.
Even in safari parks the animals are not in their natural habitat, no matter how hard the keepers try to make it so.
If you ever manage to go to Florida, go look at the polar bears in Seaworld, or the Elephants in Busch Gardens, and tell me that is natural behaviour.
But to see a snow leopard in the wild behaving normally us awesome.
Shame on you!

But I don`t want to see a CGI snow leopard. I want to see footage of the real thing.
And it wasn`t the cgi peeps who got their nethers chilled. It was proper wold life cameramen.
Why watch it if snow leopards don`t interest you?

snow leopards - I can take them or leave them - but Im sure it was a labour of love for those involved and as long as it isnt you freezing your nethers off I dunno what you are complaining about

Having suffered a bout of insomnia last night, I watched the wildlife documentary that Bill Oddie did in the early hours of this morning.
Towards the end of the show it showed clips of films of animals that have now gone extinct, as well of those that are not far off extinction. I was shocked to discover that most of them went extinct in the last 50 or so years.
It was interesting to see how wildlife programmes have changed over the years. ......
"Here`s a wildlife programme showing you the lions of africa. You want to see a lion close up? BANG! here`s one I shot earlier. Look how soft his mane is"

they have been evolving into the amazing creatures they are for millions of years, and in another few hundred will probably be extinct because of stupid people. i think thee 3 years was worth it to record their transient existance before we finally kill them with our selfish lifestyles - actually. ><

what has that got to do with leopards? it is quite easy to tell the difference? in fact, you could have at least learned that from them bothering to pipe the program into your cathode ray tube?
