LOL, Oh well never mind
You're wearing tights. I can't take lectures on physics from a man in tights. Dancing yes. Physics no!

Second page, eek! Hope everyone is well. Can't stay for long today, too many essay deadlines looming.
I see what you mean CL, John Mahoney was brilliant in 'Romance' on Saturday. He played a pill-popping eccentric Judge, who kept asking if he'd taken his pills and going off at tangents about various things. The theatre itself was small, I've become useless at explaining things recently, but it had three tiers to it, So everyone got a really good view of the stage. The whole play was a comedy about political correctness and peoples hypocrisy regarding religion (I think). I noticed a few Martin-esque moments too.
Ardal O'Hanlon was very funny too - I managed to get my script book signed afterwards, which was rather surreal. It wasn't planned, one of my friends laughed when I said I was going to take my book with me 'just in case'. Ha!. He was really nice and kept thanking everybody for comming to see him despite the horrible weather. There were quite a few Father Ted references in his show too. At one point he said something like 'You probably want me to sing my lovely horse or something, I don't know'. Lol. Ana ~

Oh, pish. Hello all. It's been well over a month since I posted in here, and I am ashamed. I was amazed I only had one page to catch up on though.
Needless to say since getting back to uni my net time has been severely reduced, and there's a lot more work to do this year, n'all. 'Boo' to that with knobs on.
I hope everyone's well, I don't have time to go into any great detail right now (which will come as a relief to you all, I suppose).
Have a great weekend, y'all.

Nice to hear from you again John, just stopping by for a flying visit too - I'm in the library at the moment, and there's only one copy left of a book I need so must dash. Found this on Google Frasier's missing fortune Can't imagine the cast's wages helped much! Ana ~
"Jugglers have car phones!?" ~ Niles, who else?

Wait'll you see - they'll have spent it on Eddie's expenses...
Currently liking: Kate Bush's single, "King of the Mountain"; currently hating: Katie Melua, "There are six million bisexuals in Beijing"...

Hello everyone and nice to hear from you again John! Glad you enjoyed both John Mahoney and Ardal O'Hanlon, Ana. It's great that you got to meet O'Hanlon after the show too, he sounds like a lovely chap. Interesting story about Frasier's missing fortune, Ana, a very interesting read and a bit of a head scratcher. I wonder what will become of it? Aye, I imagine the cast and Eddie took most of it! I never thought I'd say this about Kate Bush, but her new song is actually quite good. The song currently stuck in my head though is The Goodies' "Funky Gibbon", which is starting to get quite irritating, yet I can't help but like it. Dear oh dear. Happy Bonfire Night and have a great weekend! Jess.
If you want me, I shall be in the spleen.

...Do do do the Funky Gibbon (Funky Gibbon!) We're all here to show you how Ooh ooh ooh the Funky Gibbon (Funky Gibbon!) Let's all do the funky gibbon now... *Adopts innocent tone* Sorry, that's probably not helping, is it.
"Someone's got to fight the good fight."

I'm going to have that stuck in my head too now! Hope everyone is well. Been watching quite a few of the season 3 re-runs in the morning. It looks like they'll be showing S4 soon too. Yay! (not that I haven't seen it enough times..)
It is odd about the missing billions Jess, can't seem to find an update on the story at the moment.
I've just noticed that it looks like channel that should not be named have stopped showing Frasier, whats going on?
Hope the start of the week isn't too stressful! Ana ~
|
| |
|

|
The "other" channel's "two" variant is showing Frasier at about 22:35. Early S9 at the moment.
I'm really unwell at the moment: having had a rotten cold for a fortnight, I then got flu (the real thing, not the sort of bad cold everyone calls flu for want of a better name) and now it has developed into bronchitis. I have genuinely felt scared these past few days, and Mr CL has never seen my health so shaky. Great. I hope you all avoid this health-hell.

Ack. Every time I hear that song I want to scratch my ears off. What horrible, horrible tosh.

Hello all! Heehee, thanks Mickey, the Gibbon persists! Apologies Ana for putting it in your head. I noticed that the channel which should not be named has removed Frasier from its listings, but then again they are hopeless. I've emailed them in the past about taking Python off the air just three episodes from the end of the series and after the fourth email they told me it'd be back on in the new year. It came back in autumn. Tsk. Oh dear, I hope you feel better soon CL. Get well wishes from me! I haven't heard "There are six million bisexuals in Beijing" but the title alone sounds horrific. I'm terribly out of loop with the current music scene, which appears to be a rather fortunate thing. Have a good week! Jess.

Aw, really hope you get well soon CL, Watch lots of Frasier episodes Thats a shame. Ha... Channel that must not be named have stopped repeating it but C4 now show it every day. Who would have thought it! Just a flying visit - is it true someone won mastermind by answering questions on Father Ted? Or did I just misunderstand the end part of a conversation on the radio yesterday? Ana ~
|
| |
|

|
Yep, apparently the champion answered his specialist subject on Father Ted, but I didn't see it. Oh well - Ted's no less relevant than Dickens or Defoe!
Do you know, I only just realised that CL typed 'bisexuals' in her last post. I really should pay more attention. If only the song was actually called that, maybe it wouldn't be quite so woeful.
|
| |
|

|
Instead, of course, it's about bicycles. Jolly good.

|

|
Second page! Thanks for that John, wonder what the questions were like, he probably had to recite my lovely horse or something.
Hope you've recovered CL. A few friends have said how good Frasier on C4's been recently - the phrase 'I told you so' springs to mind. Ana

You mean it isn't called that?! I was wondering how I had managed to miss a song called "Six Million Bisexuals In Beijing"... What's it really called? *Cancels plane ticket to Beijing*

Six Million Bicycles, I do believe.

Hi Valor! Nice to hear from you. Thanks for the link -it's 2004 all over again. It seems they are showing the finale at 7.30pm, what a sensible time. Oh, I told someone I was aiming for a 'Martin style Christmas' this year, and they understood . Ana ~

Thanks for the link Valor, I may just dust off the series 11 DVD and watch it with you. It is funny how when the last episode aired here I was desperate for something to replace it and searched high and low to find out where the Frasier actors were heading. But now after time to think about it, it is good to look back at Frasier and know that the quality is on the shelf whenever I need an inject of humour. It is even more special as it is only I in the house that particularly likes it, so the DVDs are like indulging in a secret bottle of extra special whiskey only for me.

Hi everybody! Apologies for my absence, been extremely busy lately with shooting my first film and it all seems to be going horribly wrong. Ah well, they say it's all part of the learning experience! Thanks for the link Valor and it's great to hear from you again. It's always great to hear what a worldwide success Frasier has been. There hasn't been a trace of snow in these parts, CL. What's the point of living in hills perfect for sledging when there's no snow? Tsk, never mind. Did anyone see HIGNFY last night hosted by good ol' Boris Johnson? Once again, Boris didn't fail to disappoint, it was hilarious. The new HIGNFY DVD which comes out on Monday has a "Bonus Boris disc", which should be interesting. Hope you're all well. Just under a month until Christmas now. Yippee! Jess.
If you want me, I shall be in the spleen.

|
There's a new HIGNFY dvd coming out? <beams>
|
| |
|

|
Aye, the HIGNFY DVD comes out tomorrow with a double-length Boris episode and 30 minute Behind the Scenes documentary. Jane Leeves is also amongst the names of guest presenters featured in the DVD, so whether we'll get her full episode or just highlights is unknown, but it should be good fun nonetheless. Roll on Christmas! Jess.
If you want me, I shall be in the spleen.
