Why??
I can understand being anti-nationalist but anti-patriot? Why??
Eek, sorry if I caused anything bad by saying that. I didn't really mean anti-patriot, I just am not patriotic at all and never have been and probably never will be. I have nothing against people who are.

English Ale!
Let's all join CAMRA.
Oh and no problem Shama ^ I just didn't understand why you were (I thought) against people being patriotic! I understand that you just meant you weren't
Happy Lebanese bloke that killed a mythical beast day!
I can't see that signing a petition will make the slightest difference because we already have four Bank Holidays in the space of a few weeks. That makes it very unlikely for a start.
Also, the laws of England and Wales are linked, so the Welsh would have a Bank Holiday for the patron saint of England. I doubt that would sit well. They would say we would have to have a Bank Holiday for St David's day.
Before we know it, the people who ticked the box for 'other religions' and put Jedi on the last census will be demanding a Bank Holiday for Yoda's birthday!
