I just eat small portions of food but frequently I eat normal meals I dont diet ,I dont eat a lot of sweet food or takeaways crisps or pop ,and I cant do exercise because of my illness which effects my muscles but I go swimming twice a week and for me thats the best exercise .

Marguerita your comments amused me you wrote that you dont exercise yet you swim, well swimming is a good all round form of exercise, good on you, my situation is that i do not like small portions , however that sound good to me, i have packed crisps in recently, i used to eat lots of them, i am looking forward to the new series as Gok suggests fruit and i eat lots of fruit cheers anyway

just be happy ... sad as it sounds if you are anything like me if your happy then you wont binge eat. then i lose weight easily... just dont get obsessed by the food or else you will eat loads - food will be in your mind all the time if you are 'dieting'..

If you don't snack apart from on fruit, drink lots of water and do moderate exercise you shouldn't gain any weight. I do several exercise classes a week because I enjoy the social side of it too but you could walk, cycle or swim on your own if you'd prefer that.
