The one good thing about enduring a sight like that is that I can tolerate my own size 16 body much better. Hell, compared to some of them, I look FANTASTIC naked!
Also, the presenter of this show has watched too many episodes of 'Property Ladder'.
I defy anyone to tell me he doesn't sound EXACTLY like Sarah Beeny, when he's giving his commentaries. (Or Sarah's Beeny Babies as my Dad calls her - I've already slapped him! He wouldn't mind seeing HER on the show!)
Isn't that the whole point? Instead of being faced with unreal images of women - supermodels/airbrushed photographs etc, we women get to see what our real sisters look like. JUST LIKE US. And at size 16 you are the average. It's working for me, I'm starting to feel much more comfortable about my wobbly bits, cellulite and stretch marks. Really empowering. Well done Gok and those brave women who have the the courage to get their bits out. Was particularly impressed the other week by the lady who had had a mascectomy. Hope taking part made her feel great.
I think the women on the show are really brave, i for one am not laughing at them so put that in your pipe and smoke it! From all accounts on the forum the events were v interesting and thewomen enjoyed themselves what is there not to like about that, i enjoy Goks show far above any others, a friend of mine went and got kitted out with new underwear and people are convinced she has had a boob job done, he really helps with issues we all have
hear hear bountiful lady!! i totally agree with you! perhaps humblegenius is too confident and should just take a step back and think of us people without any. we might have boobs that drag on the floor as it was so nicely put but at the end of the day we are all still human and have feelings!!!! from someone with boobs AND a belly!!
i think that humblegenius' log on name is not a very accurate description of the person.
who are you ? hiding behind a name like humblegenius, criticising other women for facing their fears? i think often people are critical of others to mask their own true fears or hide their own insecurities. its a little pathetic in my opinion... since we are sharing opinions here...
I dont know humblegenius I think that you're missing the point of the show and this forum. It's so that we can STOP comparing ourselves to others and be happy with who we are.
I see lots of ladies who hate either their boobs,belly or bum and the last thing they need is someone saying yes your right you do look bad go hide in a sack !!!! b By the time i,m finished with them they look so much better all due to the proper fitting underwear and the Correct product for the job every bra has a job to do.I like to think my ladies leave the shop feeling so much better about themselves. In my mind its people like "humblegenius"that has helped them to be in that situation in the first place.
