Hi I'm I the only person on the plant that watches shows like HTLGN and get all enthusiastic and think I'm going to do that. I'm going to change my eating habits, look at what I wear. Start doing more exercise because I'm sick of feeling like this about myself. I will start from tomaorrow.......Tomorrow comes and I think I will do that later and then just can't be bothered until the next programme and it starts again....Sometimes I think I need a massive kick up the backside to start me off and to keep going. The keeping going is the hardest part
I'm glad I 'm not the only one, every Monday I tell myself this is it I'm going to be good and watch what I eat, Im going to walk everywhere and watch the pounds drop off. Then I cheat and decide I will start it tomorrow. HTLGN does give me a huge incentive to be good, I will have a go at Vikki's approach and take one thing at a time. Kim
the problem with one step at a time , is that no one notices tiny changes , nor do you think you look a whole lot different , then once you are different havent people got used to you looking like that ? but then if you spend ages doing your hair or something people notice and wonder what the occasion is etc and the next day you cant be bothered doing all the effort again.
i think maybe the day you start small chnages should also be the day you have a wardrobe clear out, and go shopping , many people enjoy shopping *nods* and is there much point cleansing your face if your wearing clothes taht are really frumpy etc ?
I kinda agree with robo_mak some of the small changes people don't notice, but a wardrobe clearout thats SCARY. Thats worse than people not noticing.. I like twineys idea its not so scary.
I have started I went to a decent shop got properly measured and bought a bra that fits me and it does make a differece. So next wk maybe I will try and drink more water...
I would really like to start going back to the gym but find that really hard to do....At the moment my get up and go seems to got up and gone
Isn't it amazing how much a properly fitted bra makes the difference. I was fitted in M & S. I've always been a 32B I thought I had grown up a 32C after my accident and putting on weight. I was actually a 32dd!! The show gives you inspirtion to continue. All I can do is the phyiso and some tummy crunches, but I keep going. I guess when thing in your life change you so much, you just can't see the wood from the tree's. Watching Gok do his magick really does more than make you look good naked. He shows there are more roads to walk.. or in my case atm hop hehe There are days, where I think we all have lows, so i've taped the shows and of course they r here to.
