I watched Robocop yesterday and was reminded of how good the films made during this decade were. Films like Blade Runner, Terminator and Total Recall were all first class but you don't see films like that today. The brutality just isn't there. So whats yours.


Corporate Spies called John should be neutered.

I loved Robocop, the sequels were rubbish though. I have just bought 'Party Party' on dvd, a very funny 80s film indeed.

I think CGI has a lot to do with things these days when it comes to 'the blockbuster'. These days they are too hyped, rely on hugh special effects or 'star' and/or are a remake anyway. The 80's was the last great decade for films!
