I think i've cried at probably most of the films ive ever seen, especially if theyre really happy! I just cry at everything really...bearing in mind I like chick flicks and comedies!!!
I'm a softie in real life, but I've rarely shed any tears watching films--I'm aware I'm being manipulated, and I resist. The soundtrack swells, and I think, "uh huh, you don't get me that easily" But I watched 'The Doctor' (with William Hurt) and I wept buckets--mainly because my mother had just died from cancer, I think.
The ending is so moving, (when Truman bumps into the side of the dome) and the music (by Mozart) is great!!
Ah, that's one of my favourite movie endings. Although the music at the end is by Philip Glass, if I'm not mistaken. The Mozart sonatas earlier in the film are wonderful, though.
The Bridges of Madison County...that's so sad when she's in the car with her husband and Clint is in the car in front waiting for her and she wants to get out and almost does but doesn't.
i don't realy cry at movies. but the one i that i cried at was Stand by Me.it was so sad!!
Philosophy degrees are such rubbish. "if a tree falls in the forest and no one can hear it, does it make a sound?" yes of course it makes a sound! That's a vibration! if u'd done a proper science degree rather than philosophy you'd not be sat there inventing question after question with no answers Member #10 of 'Newt is cute' fanclub member #12 of the "I am thoroughly annoyed by Kress and/or Mcdean" club. I cried at 'My Girl' when I first watched it back in my teens. It was the bee scene that got me. I cried at Forrest Gump once aswell, not sure why, it was like the tenth time I'd seen it. It had never affected me like that before.
Lots have made me cry but the last one that had me sitting in my car, unable to leave the cinema, weeping , was Brokeback Mountain, the last scene with the shirt and the mother...I'm off again
