It is a waste of time playing this PRIZE movie quiz as there is a cheat on it which gives you 9999 lives. Anyone getting 1780 is cheating. Channel 4 are doing nothing about it.
No - I was on a while ago and I managed to access 9999 lives - I have no technical knowledge whatsoever so am sure people who do can also get this number of lives. I grafted on this quiz for about 2 hours and managed to get 812 with THREE lives - mainly because I have a very good memory and could remember the answers. 1780 is as far as you can go in this quiz and I believe that anyone getting this score is more than likely to be cheating. I was angry at the time and posted as I felt I had been 'done' out of an Incredibles DVD. The same people will be on the leaderboard month after month - fair enough if they are winning honestly but I don't believe they are. Have you tried the quiz. What score did you get?

Forget my question. I've just looked and the top of the leaderboard is this month is a more reasonable 262. Maybe C4's sorted it out.
BTW has anyone noticed that they sometimes give the wrong answer as the right one? I can't remember now what the questions were but there were a few that I know answered right and they gave as wrong. sometimes the questions are also ambiguous so it could be any of the four possibles.
I managed to get up to 62, with two lives left, and then it crashed. I was put on a page that said 'error. Unfortunately your score has not been saved.' Very frustrating...
As a previous prize winner, I found your comments very interesting. I have previously won as I am a bit of a sad film buff.
I did once see it come up with 9999 lives but I can't remember if it deducted one every time I got a question wrong.
If people were able to use this cheat, I think that it would seriously be more hassle then it is worth.
For example:
Anyone who has scored over 1000 + will tell you that it takes ages. You can only register your score when you have lost all your lives.
Therefore you would have to lose 9999 lives which would take an forever. Fair enough, you may lose some of those lives getting to 1000 or more but to lose the remainder is like playing for a score of 9999. Can you really imagine going through the screens that many times.
It is easier to pop out and buy the dvd in the first place!!
C4 now only let you play every 7 months (eg Win one month, cannot enter the next 6 months.)and although you may get to remember a lot of the questions, C4 are constantly updating.
Good luck and see you on the scoreboard in a few months time.
