Although I understand very little of your post I think the gist is that they might produce a film about Joe Strummer.

Some of The Clash's hits are very good and I like them a lot but I think a movie about Joe Strummer's life would be a mistake.

Why?

Because he's very, very dull.

Sid Vicious, now there's a story... But it's already been made.

How about Shane MacGowan, his life story might make a good movie, although I'm not positive... There's no tragic love story there, that I know of, like in Sid & Nancy. Although that girl did bite his ear off at that Clash concert.
