I was completely blown away by his portrayal of Frank Slade in Scent of a Woman, so for me it has to be that. No one could have done a better, more believable performance. It's so nice to have some real actors rather than movie stars and IMO Al Pacino is definately one of the finest.

I even liked him in De Palma's Greeting's which is a crap film, but De Niro is amazing... surprising that! Pacino is awesome but sadly for him, he's not even in the same galaxy as De Niro. Not entirely sure whether you're asking which is the best film, or which is his best film. His best film is The Godfather by a country mile, but Scarface is his best performance.
