The Winchester repeating rifle, used in about 10,000 westerns, but even named in Anthony Mann's Winchester '73.
The Magnum .44 calibre cartridge and handgun, used in the Dirty Harry films.
The Bowie knife, used by Jim Bowie (played by Richard Widmark) in The Alamo, but probably more memorably by Crocodile Dundee - "You call that a knife?"
But my favourite - the film's already been metioned, but not the most famous weapon used in it - The Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
"And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naught in my sight, shall snuff it.'"
