Whilst bored over the Bank Holiday Weekend I came up with the idea of making a 'Horror Movie Calender', basically listing films that are set on specific dates or in certain seasons and watching the film at the time of year. Here's what I came up with so far;

Friday 13th = Friday the 13th 1-? (1980)
Feburary 14th = My Bloody Valentine (1981)
Mothers Day = Mothers Day (1980)
April 30th (Walpurgis Night)= The Devil Rides
Out (1967)
May 1st = The Wicker Man (1973)
September ? (Can't quite remember the exact
dates here) = Ring (1998)
October 27th = Night of the Demon (1958)
October 31st = Halloween (1978)
Christmas = Black Christmas (1974)

Needless to say both 'The Devil Rides Out' and 'The Wicker Man' got an airing on my DVD player this weekend, but is there any more that I can't think of?

All I can think of right now is 'Independence Day' but that's not really a horror movie although it has got monsters/aliens in it.
