I don't know if this is the right forum for this but i would like an answer from somebody. The Name That Film Quiz on the Film 4 website is very good and it's a lot of fun but does anyone know how to prevent the dreaded techical error message that comes up every so often you click on submit. Several times now i have reached a score going over 2000 but that message will come up and ruin all the work i've done because it doesn't save your score.
Does anyone else have this problem and is so is there anyway to prevent it?
Don't know if this is the right forum either - but would also like to know if there is a solution to this - as I'm struggling to get anything like a good score on the current quiz.
Speaking of which - how are the current leaders getting the sort of score (and for that matter, the score the OP claims to be reaching)?
I'm figuring, even if you're immediately sure of an answer, it's got to take five to 10 seconds to read the question and click, wait for the confirmation and click again to get to the next question. I reckon that means to get a score approaching 2,000 - you're got to be spending four or five hours at the computer...and not losing your lives, suffering a crash as described above or taking more than a few minutes break (it appears if I leave it too long between answering questions the quiz times out - but I could be wrong?)
Bit dubious about people playing this entirely honestly!
