Man, you lot certainly have the knives out for this - Russell Crowe deserves it, Tom Cruise does not. Jennifer Lopez deserves it, Robert De Niro does not - I repeat does not.
Mine is probably Angelina Jolie, most of her wealth is from flops. Except maybe Hackers & Girl interrupted

I'll get panned for this I know, but I can't see it about Anthony Hopkins. He's a good actor, but all this stuff about being Britain's best? No way. Give me Alec Guiness or Paul Schofield anyday.
Richard Gere,Robert Redford,Jack Nicholson,Michael Douglas,Julia Roberts,Michelle Ppheffer,Catherine Zita-jones,Cameron Diaz,Gwynneth Paltrow. (I've got lots more. It will go on forever.)

I agree with you about Alec Guinness Fabulous actor.
Is America still having this love affair with Catherine Zeta Jones?
I personally cannot see which of her films is supposedly making us believe she is a fantastic actress. To make matters worse she is lapping it up, poor sap, even to the degreee of slamming Great Britain, where she obviously got her big break from!
jennifer aniston. she is rachel. but she took a bottle of tranquilisers and wrinkled her forehead a lot to be different for her performance in the good girl

Definitely. Guinness if only for his superb performances in the Ealing comedies, and Schofield for his remarkable performances opposite Gordon the Gopher.

I can't believe some of the names you lot are picking out!
Leonardo Di Caprio? (have you never seen What's Eating Gilbert Grape? or the Aviator? or Gangs of New York? no, he can definitely act.)
Robert De Niro? (absolute legend, I know he hasn't made a decent film in a long time but you can't forget the films he made in the past- The Godfather trilogy, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, Brazil, Goodfellas... and to the person who said he hasn't made a good film since Goodfellas- Casino, Heat, Jackie Brown, Ronin... and Meet the Parents was actually a good film. It was just the sequel that kind of ruined it all.)
Russel Crowe? (Gladiator, LA Confidential, The Insider, A Beautiful Mind...) ________________________________________________
