I've done the score-only commentary before! I can't remember which film, might have been Se7en. It's quite a chilled experience, more for late nights.
On the Three Kings DVD there's a short spoof doc about Ice Cube and his acting methods, directed by Spike Jonze. It's quite funny the way they've done it.
I thought the Shaun Of The Dead DVD would have a legendary one, as it was advertised as a DVD commentary featuring the zombies. Turns out it was a commentary with the actors who were the zombies. A thoroughly decent bunch, but I would have loved to hear it with just a 'discussion' involving wails and moans!
I normally don't bother watching the extras but on the DVD of Troy they have a guide to the Gods of Greece where you click on a statue and it moves with some american guy telling you about the individual god. I like the kids DVD's best because they have interactive games and stuff like on the DVD of Shrek 2 where you had to vote for your favourite in a Shrek 'Pop Idol' contest - I voted for Puss in Boots singing 'Living La Vida Loca'.
I can't top that - On the Dirty Dancing DVD box it 'shows you how to dirty dance' I thought it was the much-rumoured vid that Swayze made not long after the film came out that teaches you the steps. But instead there was this weird interactive sketch of feet stepping from one side and then the other and THAT WAS IT....
Bizarre is not the word for it
"My father had a profound influence on me. He was a lunatic" *Meet the new boss...Same as the old boss*
The DVD for the Series 'JAM' has to have some of the most bizzare extras ever! One of them is to watch the entire series in miniture, while it jumps around the screen.
