Hiroshema is a wonderful film - albiet a little hard work with its pacing and enigmatic storyline - like Last Year in Marianbad it can accused of being a little too arty for its own good but if you go into it with an open mind it is a very rewarding experience - I saw it several years ago and it has a haunting power that stays with you...

Yes it's great and one of Resnais' definite masterpieces alongside Holocaust-documentary 'Night & Fog' & the oblique 'Last Year at Marienbad.' I also enjoyed the later film 'Providence'...
