To be honest I can't remember. I usually just ignored bits I didn't understand. There was one passage in Jaws that was quite sexually explicit (the film ignores that completely - it's Brody's wife and Hooper that have a bit of a thing if I remember), but at that age I had no idea what it was on about. Innocent days...

Films generally don't scare me, however, Robert Wise's 'The Haunting' really gets to me.

I sat up the other night as i couldn't sleep and ended up watching a british film i think called the jin, it was wet your pants scary. It was about a group of friends that do an Oujia board experiment thing and it goes abit wrong and they start getting killed by this jin thing anyway it was quite good. But i was too scared to go to th eloo on my own and had to wake my husband up to take me. I dont watch spooky films very often
the film was "long time dead" and i thought it was scary too especially when hes hiding in the locker and the freaky eyes appear through the grill.

The scene where she crawls out of the TV was really scary. They should use that scene in the next advert for paying your TV license. Forget detector vans, "Pay up or this scary long haired girl who lives down a well is coming through your TV set". It would make me pay.

The Omen is a pretty scary movie... it doesn't have grotesque graphics but it seeps into your mind.
I recently saw The Haunting (of Hill House) and I must say it really disturbed me... I was surprised, I didn't think it would! It ends abruptly but most of it is still quite good.
I think I missed something with The Ring- I keep hearing it was quite scary but I didn't flinch once... I hear the original Japanese version is quite scary though.

The Ring - I watched it on my own and when it finished my sister rang me for a prank. Hide and Seek - Even though i knew the conclusion it still gave me the creeps
