I've a feeling you're going to have to give us this one, Dave.
Am I Sammy Davis Jr in Ocean's Ele-vun?
No-no-no, of course I'm not.
Please tell us.

I fear Disco Dave may be stuck in a continuous loop of watching Saturday Night Fever and Roller Boogie, so until he returns here's a wee one. Clue: I'm robbing, coz my partner's sex change op is soon

Quite. I'm Al Pacino in the excellent Dog Day Afternoon. Another clue: I'm stopping French art treasures becoming a Nazi gain.

Am I Burt Lancaster in The Train? If so: Writer's block for the playwright is worse than you think.

I'm John Turturro in Barton Fink
here's an easy one:
My consumptive dentist friend was good for morale.

Why is it always, always, ALWAYS the easy ones that have me stumped?

This will really give it away, but I've only just realised that actor in the solution to me clue is the same one I used last time.

Man, that sucks! I did consider Gunfight at the OK Corral because it rhymed so well, but the dentist bit threw me off. I never knew that about Doc Holliday. You educate me so well, Nigel. So I'm Burt Lancaster in Gunfight At The OK Corral? Clue: I need a good news story, so I fell for a socialite

One of my favourites. Vintage Capra.
I'm Clark Gable in It Happened One Night
In a similar vein:
To stop my ex marrying a ninny she'll write the story my way.

I'm Cary Grant in His Girl Friday?
Please forgive me if this is cr*p:
Clue: Looking for my pal with pointy ears, I am a starship doc
|
| |
|

|
I'm Deforest Kelley in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
Easy new clue:
This mind-entering portal will make me so rich

I am John Cusack in Being John Malkovich I'm no poet and I know it; it took me a day and a half to think up a rhyming movie clue. Clue:My undead mate says I must die for my werewolf curse to be undone.

...I'm David Naughton in 'An American Werewolf In London'. Hi guys, I'm back! Nice to see you've been keeping the thread going - I knew this game had a future. Since I'm pretty sure I got the right answer here I'm just going to dive straight in with a new clue. It's not the tightest rhyme in the world (it relies greatly on the emphasis being shifted to the last syllable), but I couldn't resist this one. Clue: You won't see my lips move when I say the word 'Toolshed'...

Good to see you. But your clues don't get any easier. I can't think of a film starring Keith Harris or Roger de Courcey. I'm not Simon Pegg in Shaun of the Dead, am I?

If it makes you feel better Nige, I was going to say Shaun Of The Dead too! But to be fair, I was also toying with Waking Ned, Club Dread and License To Wed. I'm an idiot is what I'm saying.

Okay, I realised a wee while ago why this one might be causing a little trouble - it was supposed to be Bruce Campbell in 'The Evil Dead' and then I remembered that the badly over-dubbed 'toolshed' line is in 'Evil Dead 2'. Since 'two' doesn't rhyme with 'shed', I may have to forfeit my right to my turn and let one of you guys give a clue. Sorry everybody - I have failed you.

It's been nearly a year. Not sure if anyone who played this game previously is still around. Let's give it a go eh?
Clue: We're too 1940s prim for me to be able to mount her
