Yes I know... I suppose it depends on what sort of interpretation you're doing. If it's just some 'oh look he's black' type thing then I don't see the point. Not that I know that's what there doing as the isn't any information at all on the website.

And yet he's usually played by non-jewish actors;while jews are portrayed as 'Christ Killers'. A black christ is no more revolutionary than a blonde haired,blue-eyed christ or a chinese christ but a jewish actor playing christ would atleast be an attempt at authenticity.
