I just had similar trouble uploading one of mine - it was a shade longer than I wanted it once I got it all typed in the box, so I was having a tinker with it and trying to trim it down... And...

It turns out, those people over on the other board were right... If you're logged on in the same place more than an hour, that's when you start getting the errors. None of the pages would load at all, and I thought I was in a real pickle... But then I just closed the lot down, came in again, and it was fine.

So I think the key is getting as many things into the box as you can in under an hour - then coming back for another session if need be. Or what most glamour models call a good Friday night... Smile

If you are still having probs, email it to them explaining the problem. They will accepted it then under those circumstances but do it before tonight so they have it in time.

I hadn't done anything for the competition so I sat down and wrote ten sketches last night and typed them into the site this morning.

All went well up until script 9, when for some reason I was logged out halfway through writing it, but I logged back in and it worked fine.

On the last one (the longest one) I got an error when submitting, so I logged out and logged back in to submit it again only to recieve the same error, but when I checked the script had been submitted twice - so it worked the first time.

I'd been logged in about forty minutes when the first error occured, and only about ten minutes when the last errors occured.

I tend to save as draft several times during writing before submitting, that way if an error occurs I don't have as much typing with the next try.

Yep, that's a good session! Never congratulated you on getting user of the week by the way, OtterFox. Must've missed it as I was away for a while the other week - just noticed it on the profiles page. Good skills!

I wouldn't exactly call it genius. The scripts were mostly just quick sketches, and the topic was pretty easy - shopping's pretty vague, so there's plenty of room to play.

I'll be putting the full 10 in the test-bed shortly (just in case they don't make it to the comp), and they were pretty much written in one sitting exactly as they are (I think I'm getting lazy).

Congrats on the user of the week. I wish they'd publicise it a bit better though - I didn't realize until I read it from Dr Vole.

What I didn't get was how you missed it. You have no mirrors in you house? You have no idea what you look like? Big Grin

I get that shock first thing in the morning when I see myself with no make up. Pale as a ghost with red hair sticking up everywhere. Who the hell is that in my bathroom and why is their head on fire?

I too tend to "look like Kiss but without the make-up" in the morning... And if only I had the tongue like Gene to go with it... Wink
