A few junk males entries into the various shopping competitions seem to be stuck in 'awaiting moderation' which I find slightly concerning as some of there competitions have closed.

And our entries were submitted well before the deadline.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

I had an audio entry which was awaiting moderation for a little while and I thought it was because it was mPEG4 rather than MP£ but it seems to have gone up now after a couple of days, whereas I have a shopping script which has been up a lot longer is still awaiting moderation. Maybe they have been busy trying to fix all the bugs they mentioned. Be very annoying if the JM's have missed the deadlines because of it.

I've had a similar issue - I posted a script entry at the weekend and an audio entry. They weren't acknowledged at all for two days, then I checked once this morning and both said awaiting moderation, then the next time I checked they weren't there again.

I haven't had an email or 'rejected' message to this effect, but I'm thinking my audio might have been a bit long (I know 4Laughs prefer oral stuff to go on no longer than a minute before the climax).

PS. Sorry about that last bit.

Don't panic. I've been told in the past that just because it hasn't been moderated, doesn't mean that they don't have it. Am sure you boys will do fine!!!

I have had a nice email from Chris Norman stating that the shopping scripts remain unmoderated awaiting Ric Michaels attention next week... so we should be OK - except MC001 who didn't get his in fast enough... he was too busy with a Ginster's pasty!!! Big Grin

Danny, how's your part-time plumbing job going?

Having thought I'd successfully entered one of my scripts earlier in the week for the shopping competition...logged on last night only to find it wasn't showing on my list...logged on today...it's back on the list but awaiting moderation

Might write one about channel4 shopping for a new server or something! heh heh

I entered this too but my script seems to have vanished. I wonder if that means I've got the minutes of recent 4laughs meetings somewhere on my hard drive?

Here are the minutes of the 4Laughs meeting on 28 February 2007:

The meeting started at 17 MINUTES past 3 and finished at 39 MINUTES past 4.

That concludes the minutes for the 4Laughs meeting.

Ha ha! That sounds like the minutes I once received from a parish council sub committee meeting, when I worked for, er, the Vole Times.

It said:

Apologies received from all committee members except JS and VB.

Item 1
JS suggested the fence in the community playing field should be repainted.

VB (chair) said no.

There was no other business.

...and that was it! Brilliant.

Anyone would think you guys don't read the 4Laughs blogs: "Our resident script miser Ric Michael from Baby Cow is on his hols at the moment, so if your work has yet to be moderated please bear with us. Ric will be devouring your comic delights next week." (22/02/07)

Tis now next week and Ric has indeed moderated and judged all the scripts...

Hope it was worth the wait jimjamstew!

Congratulations mate, loved the script.

Just one small gripe, Trinny and Susannah in Iran is about shopping how? Or was this a late entry into the Reality TV idea that got confused.
