I'd like to see a series of short programmes whereby the set is always the same, the script is always the same but the actors used have different accents each show. I think some series on TV at the moment would improve with different dialects or maybe just appeal to a different audience! In contrast I also think some sitcoms/series would suffer from losing their accents too! e.g. Shameless

You are a genius iggiesmum but might be even better if it was a series of long programmes or like the news or something

Thanks Dave! Nobody has ever called me a genius before! Feel free to expand the idea but it doesn't look like anyone else agrees just yet! Maybe if you add some bits to it it might get more notice Smile

Well - like Eastenders done with North London accents - that could be funny although it's contrary to your theory about sitcoms
