Hello you's lot - I entered the two image competitions at a very late stage last night as it's the first time I've been able to upload pics. Will it be too late, in your experience, for them to have any impact?
That will probably not matter on this occasion as they're a bit rubbish (that's not me fishing, they're my first efforts), but is timing everything when it comes to the uploading-type competitions? I'm new to this side of fings!
Hi there Doc, i'd try and encourage other users to rate the images if i were you. Sometimes peeps do tend to overlook the rating system - that's why i constantly put a link to rating in the blogs - so a reminder for the other 4Laughs contributors is sometimes needed.
My own experience with the images is that they take ages to get moderated - I've had one awaiting publication on the site for nearly two weeks! Maybe they aren't a priority?
Images are ticky little blighters. Sometimes they don't upload properly, and as such we don't know what users have submitted them, which means we can't email the user back about the image.
If your image isn't on site after a couple of days of submission please email us with the name of the image and a brief description of it. Thanks.
