It's all good thanks, chief - did my first stand up slot last month which went well.
Juggling my job, looking after my new daughter and carefully choosing which comedy opportunities to spend any time I've got on!

Cheers Seth! I do have some snatched footage of that gig that my mate took. It's very weird watching it back! But helpful.

Great blog doc and congrats on the stand up. My friends are trying to push me in that direction too. They're giving me until June to get standup material together and go to an open mic gig. I feel safer in my sketch writing cocoon but I suppose it might be an idea to bite the bullet and go for it. I know it must take guts to just get up there and do it. I admire your balls... not literally of course

OtterFox - you should go for it mate! You'd be great. It's such a good way of trying stuff out, like I said in the blog - even if you'd rather be the next Steven Marchant than the next Chris Rock, it's a great measure of what people find funny, as Seth says. It's maybe not for everyone if you don't feel ANY of your humour is transferable to the stage, but I've heard your audio stuff. Go for it.

There is no feeling like it when it goes well...(also no feeling like it when it goes badly)..I have some unused stand-up material if you are short. I still write it even though I stopped doing it. Happy to see it go to a good home.
