The latest issue of 4homes magazine is out. Inside, we visit Lucy Ryder Richardson's home. Well, it's sort of her home. Because it's also the showhome for her classic modernist furniture sales business, Showhome. You can read the full article on the 4homes website here.

She's agreed to take your questions about how she finds furniture, mixes business with family life, what design she likes, and much more. Just post your queries below and we'll send them to her in a couple of weeks.

Well the Changing Rooms designer was Anna Ryder Richardson. Little sis or got the name wrong?

I've stopped reading house magazines because they're full of tedious features like this - "Let's look around the lovely home of some smug artist/interior designer/florist/nicknack shop owner who thinks this would be a great way to drum up more business" - usually accompanied by lots of pictures of the house, mostly painted white with close-ups of the merchandise in the foreground.

Whatever happened to seeing homes featured for no other reason than they're actually beautiful or interesting with ideas I could use in my own home - without having to buy some over-designed crap?

Why waste our time asking some woman we've never heard of how she mixes business with family life, when the only question she wants us to ask is 'how would you like me to pay for your classic modernist furniture then? Cash, cheque or credit card?'

I just had a look on the website - you can get a chair for a grand or a wooden bowl for under 50 quid.

What a bargain! Eek

I do like the 4 homes magazine. But I find it so inaccessible to those on an average income.
Why isn't a range of products shown to cater for all tastes and all income brackets. I was going to send out an annual subscription for a friend as a birthday present. But she didn't like your magazine at all. She said it was too expensive and it had too many adverts. I'm just so glad that I had the foresight to show her a copy. Confused
