I live in a tenement which was built around 1900. At one time we had a neighbouring tenement which has been demolished years ago. My survey noted that there were external cracks which were unlikely to get any worse.

I've been here 3 years and it took til today to move a bit of old wood which the last owner left behind in an internal cupboard which joins on to the external wall. Red Face There are a lot of cracks in this cupboard, but what concerns me is some bulging plaster at the bottom.

Basically I just need reassurance that the whole side of the flat isn't about to fall down! I take it is just some plaster which has come away from the lath, and that it would be a simple job for a plasterer to fix? It is an area about 30cm by 10cm. Or should I be concerned?

This sounds like something that you are better off getting a professional to look at rather than have us lot guess at answers.
