Snippets from yesterday's Evening Standard property supplement . . .
- Justin and Colin have just bought a ground floor flat in a 1930s block in South Kensington, called Malvern Court. Needs a lot of work apparently.
- "Home-owners whose property is recommended for listing will now have to be informed and consulted before it is finalised" - Well, I should think so too!
- This Sunday (10am-6pm), artist Tomoko Takahashi will be dismantling her installation at the Serpentine Gallery and "invites the public to take away the 7,000 found objects used in its construction, including bits of furniture, toys and games, domestic utensils and electric appliances. And it's all free". (I wonder if there will be a riot, like at IKEA in Edmonton??)
- And, talking of IKEA,
UNFLATPACK is a new service which will go to IKEA for you, buy what you want, deliver it to your home and even assemble the furniture for you. Only in and around London, though.
