Any ideas how to stop our (new) loo seat slipping and sliding all over the place, please? The thin plastic washers provided with it only lasted a few weeks before they split!
Thanks for your help.

Silicon sealer is what we use under the nylon washers to stop movement but dare I say it----it must be a reasonably poor quality seat you have?

I'd just buy another loo seat to be honest, save faffing about.

Is it a standard loo seat or one of those with the separate metal hooks at either side? (like 2 chrome "L" shaped hooks that fit into the seat)....those b*ggers are notoriously fiddly to fit!!!

B&Q sell kits to replace the fixing bolts. As its new try taking it back or cut you losses and buy a new one. Somewhere like John Lewis has some nice cheap ones or bog seats fit for royalty.

Thanks for all your comments. It was actually an expensive loo seat - we bought it together with bath panels as we wanted black ones for our art deco bathroom. But I'll try B&Q for replacement bits and pieces.
