A friend threw up in the back of my car at the weekend, i've cleaned it up as best i could using car upholstery cleaner....but there is still a couple patches that has that horrible sicky smell.

Im going to clean the area again tomorrow though im at a loss what else i can do to clean it and get the smell out.

Any suggestions...(apart from get a new friend)?

wet carpet cleaner (if its upholstry and not leather followed by shake n'vac once its dried.

Get it valeted. £10 you have never better spent.

How did I learn this? After being sick in my own lap at 70mph on Sunday. Oh yeah! You can't beat the great smell of somebody else doing the dirty work!

Make the friend either clean it or pay for it to be cleaned. Worst thing ever in a car, closely followed by spilt milk.

After cleaning, an odour eater spray for shoes perhaps?
