I don't know anything about Bellway, but if they are typical of the other builders, I would keep a close eye on the work as your house is built. We have recently rented a Wimpey home and were not impressed by the quality of the work, which included a shower with the hot and cold plumbed the wrong way round. It put us off buying a new build, I'm afraid.

My mum bought a 2 year old Bellway home about 3 years ago and hasn't had any problems as far as I know.
