Was trying to find a student property search engine online to help me find student accommodation for my next year at uni. Has anyone got any ideas - i looked at accommodation for students.com - didnt have any luck it seemed to be too complex. Need something a lot more simple...

Try contacting the students union at the university you are thinking of going to they should be able to help you.

Tried that - not online and also not a great selection... Need a good online website that is not full of junk!!

type gumtree into google, and then log on to the one in your area. All advertising is free.

I'm looking into studying at Lancaster Uni, I won't need to have accomodation as I'm lucky enough to live in the exclusive leafy borough of Morecambe nearby
but Lancaster Uni provide their own property search website/service.
Surely the uni provide some help along these lines for those that need to rent away from campus?

there is a company called stud-lets that rents out to students in newcastle. Run by a bloke called john parish. I went through them when i stayed there. They come up at the top in google if you search there.
