Hello PJ, a company called Indigo Furniture do a sleigh bed. If you do a web search you should find their website.

Hi folks, just taking a break from painting my living room. We've been at it since 9 this morning and I'm shattered. Now got to start on the hall. Is this evenings HNTD a repeat? Whay are Channel 5 mixing up new shows and repeats? I think I missed one of the last series so, fingers crossed, this might be the one tonight. My plan is to get on with painting, have a pizza and then sit down to a bottle of wine when the boys are on. Have a good evening everyone.

Count me in. Ill have a wedding put together by Just and Col and Ill honeymoon at Nigels in France. Can anyone let me know this - can you actually rent rooms for real in France at Nigels?
PJx

You certainly can rent a room PJ from Nige but you might find the camera a bit intrusive on the top of the 4 poster bed in the Honeymoon Suite.

It was a repeat - I realised I had seen it before when the discussion about the bathroom sink happened. I thought I'd seen all those hideous 'collections' before!

I think it might have been a 'revised repeat' though, as the boys did the 'revisit' six months later, rather than the usual few weeks.

I hadn't seen it before. That sink in the bathroom was WAY too small IMHO. I think the "block" it sat on would've been much better "rounded" off to mirror the shape of the sink. MrWP said "you'd stab yourself on that corner every time you stand in front of that!!!" Frown

Overall, it was a nice transformation but I'm not sure about the feature wall in the kitchen - that wallpaper wasn't my cup of tea!! Smile

BTW Didn't they all have nice accents last night!! Big Grin

The accents were lovely Big Grin

I liked that wallpaper, but I agree about the sink. It was way too small, you could barely get one hand in it - and the block under it was too big and clunky, don't know what all that was about but it wasn't nice.

Anyway they were happy with it, the guy's reaction was very sweet.

PJ - On the subject of makeovers, did you catch the new TARDIS – seems to have had a major ‘knock through’ into adjoining dimensions – and was amazing, very organic, with shades of metropolis, actually quite cool Smile. And Rose’s b/f was savaged by an itinerant wheelie bin – see what happens when the council puts chip in them Big Grin.

I'd seen the original version of the show already but it's always good to watch Colin and Justin so I didn't mind the repeat. I'm surpried that 5 haven't got their own message boards for their programmes. There's a lot of good stuff on 5 at the moment and we have to come here to discuss it.

So much for the twist in the tail I had read about! Maybe it was just that C and J were renarkably lovely to everyone. Think I prefer it when they are oppinionated! Still - another great show and the lads did a great job of that house - mind you its always nice after theyve done their stuff
PJ x

Forgot to ask you guys - isnt it a shame that none of the DIY shows like How NOt To Decorate on five, four or one have decent web sites???? All these amazing ideas and you cant follow them uop,
PJ x

I am a huge fan of Doctor Who. I was really looking forward to the first episode and it was everything I hoped it would be. I'm disappointed that CE has said he won't do another series - I think he was perfect. Now my weekend is even better. C&J on a Friday and Dr Who on saturday - perfect!

What did everyone think of last night's HNTD? I thought it was the best yet. I laughed myself silly when Justin decided to become calm and accepting of everything that happened or didn't happen. The calmer he became, the more Colin lost it. I thought the transformation of the living room was great. I didn't think I wuold like the chocolate/orange mix, but it worked well.

I like to think of myself as a dog lover but those dogs last night were something else. Their toilet habits were disgusting! How could anyone live with that kind of mess. I though Colin and Justin did wonderful things with the house but I suspect that it will go back to it's original tacky state quite quickly.

The boyfriend didn't have much to say did he!

What were all the trolls, and 'My Little Ponies' all about?

Most ODD

What happened to all the birds and fish tanks I don't remember seeing them post make-over.
I did see them unpacking one fishtank with no base?
And the fake phonecall to Ikea....

I did like it when they were trying to catch the birds with a net tied on top of the dirty broom.

I won't be wanting the TROLL wall paper though

Not sure who I felt more sorry for the DOGS living with the Pink Troll
Or the PINK TROLL (Emma)

Big Grin

I agree - how can you live with that, it's disgusting. A friend of ours has a chichuahua and it is trained to use a litterbox like a cat, so no excuse for poo all over the floor. A good makeover I thought, I really liked the kitchen, but I too think it will re-tack quickly, and the rugs are definitely doomed.

Very funny as well Smile.

Next week's is another (revised?) repeat though.

Ditto - it'll be back to it's disgusting state within weeks IMHO!!! The kitchen was the only think I liked - and the brown sofas!! Cool

The programme was a cross between HNTD and How Clean is Your House!! Eek How ANYONE can live with dog poo all over the house is beyond me - I can't even leave it on the grass outside - it's got to be de-pood a.s.a.p. - guess what MrWP's doing at the moment!! Big Grin

I couldn't belive that an adult would want to collect My Little Ponies or Cabbage Patch dolls. Most kids grow out of that kind of thing by the time they reach 8. Or else you would keep it a big secret rather than telling the nation about your embarassing secret. I thought the maddness of the house got to the guys last night - Justin in particular was bouncing off the ceilings. I think that all their fantastic efforts will be wasted unfortunately. Those rugs will be a health hazard by now.

PJ that sounds awful - you'll be laid up for months! Are you in a lot of pain? Have you got somebody to help you at home? THe HNTD from FRiday was fun - the house the woman lived in was lovely and bright and airy, but an interior nightmare. Lots of awful barbie pink and collections of things she should have got rid of at puberty. As well as collections of gonks(!) she had filled the house with tiny strange looking dogs which pooped and peed everywhere. The boys are well known as cat lovers, but they were taken aback at the mess that the animals were allowed to make. As we have come to expect, the boys waved their magic wands and turned the house into something contemporary and comforatble to live in. However, the owners dog training skills hadn't improved when they went back for their visit, and dog pee was starting to appear again. I'm off up north for a couple of days and won't have access to a computer so I hope you're feeling a bit stronger by the time I get back.

PJ - I forgot to tell you about Doctor Who. have you seen last night's episode? I think it was amazing - CE is fantastic as the Doctor and Billie Pipier makes a very likeable assistant. Great story last night and good special effects. Can't wait for next week.
