I'm in need of more help Confused

Has anyone had any experiance of sanding a wooden floor? I'm in need of some advice.

Looking round there are a few methods to cover the floor boards once sanded e.g. Dyes, paint then wax etc but which one can be recommended as they all are alittle toppy in price and I just want to get it right first time (that would be first in itself Wink)

Any info would be great.

Thanks

Beaker

You might like to read these two articles by Toby Newell from PeriodProperty.co.uk on wood stripping and finishing – they give an expert’s view on what’s involved and explains the distinctions between staining, sealing, and finishing.

Get some quotes for getting someone else to do it. It is an awful job.
I did a room and it cost me the same in varnish, sander hire and sanding belts as it did to pay someone to do it for me. It also spoilt a bank holiday.
