Hi everyone! Original prankster here again, still going strong. I can see that you have been doing great job keeping this new topic busy

I have four weeks to my arrival, yay! Getting a bit excited already and these four weeks are going to be really busy, with packing and sorting things. AND I have to move before that, aargh! Or husband is moving, we got the house sold and it needs to be empty by easter weekend. So you can imagine I will be absolutely confused with moving and packing for the trip at the same time..

Nice day to everyone. I heard about the snow storm and school closures over there. Hope it will get warmer soon !

Just remember, Jellye, that a snow storm in England is 3 flakes of snow and a cross wind

Trishwish: Thank you very much! I try not to get myself too much stress, and now that I got for example all my clothes sorted it seems to get easier.. I just need to go through all the drawers and closets and keep getting rid of stuff. Makes it more simple when the moving day arrives

I've also been taking care of some travel insurances etc. Feels like there is still 148 things to take care of but - then again, I have almost everything ready now. Just counting the minutes this last month

Just scooping this up before it disappears onto page 2. Can't have Jellye getting here and not being able to find us!!

I am spending today at home as I am feeling a bit under the weather.

I do hope my Telephone Preference Service registration kicks in soon!! I have been offered two holidays, two alternative telephone services, new windows and a conservatory.

I got another call this evening, about half past eight.

It was from someone on behalf of the local paper wanting to know if I had received my free copy through the front door on Wednesday!

When I asked where they got my number from I was told that it was on a list sold to them by BT. Gee thanks, BT.

I think that TPS takes 28 days after registration. After that, unless you have given your express permission for that company to contact you then you should take as many details as possible, and submit a complaint form to TPS.

I would recommend that you also contact BT and ask them to stop selling your information on to 3rd parties. I had to do this with the post office (after already ticking the relevant box)... they have passed my information on from when we forwarded our mail from old address...

"How do I know it's them?" I hear you cry... because we hadn't exchanged on our flat when we had to move out of our rented accomodation, all our mail was forwarded to my in-laws... and RM are the only people who have their address related to my name..

Very annoying..
