Id like to downsize quite considerably and around the East Anglia area. I have seen what I can only describe as possibly park type homes but on own land or wooden contructions. I havent a clue how to go about looking into this sort of property. Anyone out there that could advise please.

I have never been inside one of these homes, but do know of two couples who have recently moved into them - one in Lancashire and one near Cambridge. Both couples are very happy in their new environments - one says it's like being on holiday permanently! There are several magazines available about park homes - maybe they would be a good place to start looking.

I have heard of some park homes in and around Norwich which are on a leasehold, therefore paying ground rent and if you decide to sell you have to pay a commission to the park.

Many other places only allow 9 or 10 month occupancy.
