I got about 70 in the boot of a Polo a while back. I just put the back seat down and spread the bricks out as much as possible. At a guess I'd say a solid frogged brick typically weighs about a couple of kilos - so you're looking at about roughly the same weight as a pair of 12 stone passengers. If you're not travelling far you might prefer to make two journeys.
Yeah similar advice, you might want to put some mdf inbetween the folded rear seat and the front passenger seats. If heaven forbid someone rear-ends your car the bricks will be mini-missiles
as long as you have 75mm of clearance when fully loaded between the top of the rear wheels, and the bottom of the inside of your wheel arch's , you will be alright
Not sure about bricks but I got about 170 bottles of wine and 3 large packs of washing powder in my golf and drove all the way back from Calais.........to LONDON. It did rattle a bit tho
If you work on the system that your car hold four passengers, and say 10-12 stone for each passenger, then that would be 40 odd stone, and if the bricks dont exceed that you should be okay, as long as you spread them out evenly, and put some in the passenger side also.
