Can anyone tell me why my Wistaria has never flowered since I bought it as a sapling 6 years ago.I have two others in another part f the garden that are in full flower but the one on the front of the house is a dud

It can take a wisteria several years to flower. Mine (also bought as a sapling) took six years before it flowered, (that was last year) this year, it only had two flowers on it!
The old one in my garden that was there when we moved in, flowers like mad every year withoug fail and it's too high to ever be pruned. My new one is pruned and coaxed and talked to (only joking).
There are thoe who say that you should only buy a wisteria when it is in flower, so that you know you are not buying a dud.
