A while ago- last month I think- I posted a thread asking whether Sharps bedrooms were any good. I can't find the thread, but the reactions were pretty mixed, mostly bad.
Well, I've had my wardrobes and dressing table fitted and they look fantastic, and I am very pleased. However, never again will I be using Sharps.
Their customer service was no less than appalling. For me to go into everything would be too long. In short, the whole company is against each other: the designers hate the surveyors, who hate the fitters, who hate everyone in the company who all hate the customer services department girls. Oh, and the delivery people hate the surveyors too. The fitter did nothing but complain from the moment he walked into MY home to the moment he left. What the designer had designed didn't actually fit, so they had to get a surpervisor down to take back shoe racks and drawers and give me an discount (for the items only not for goodwill). As I live in a block of flats and rubbish can't be left outside, the fitter was asked by his supervisor to take the rubbish back to his place in his van to be collected by their rubbish collector (to which the fitter said "i'll do it for an extra £40"- from the company not me). But what did he do? He dumped the rubbish in my communal bin area and left. I got a knock on the door saying the bin men would not take the large planks of wood, and I had to phone Sharps up and they organised for the fitter to go and actually DO what he was paid for.
There's so much more, but I don't want to relive the thing. I will never use them again, but the good thing is, my wardrobes look fantastic. After going to hell and back of course
