we are having our outside loo on our victorian property demplished. neighbours seem quite concerned as it is back to back with their outside loo. will the removal/demolition of our outside loo affect their building. do we need planning permission to do this? i thought it was quite a straightforward job but now i am panicking.
please help.

If any part of the structure is shared you need a Party Wall Agreement.

Unless you have some kind of restriction on your property (conservation area, listed, etc), unlikely that PP would be needed.

thanks velvet. that was sort of what i thought. it is not listed or any other restrictions for that matter and i know of other folk in the street who have done the same without planning permission. it is such a tiny little space but very ugly hence the demolition.
spoke to the neighbours about it. they seem slightly happier about the whole thing. still wish i had never started the whole thing though cos it has caused me that much stress!
