Next door neighbour vidoed a fox in his back garden this week so some of you clever ones that pointed the finger at a fox dirtying my back garden *may* just be correct

So does anyone know how to stop foxes pooing in the garden?
I like to cover all bases!

Again, I'm trying to steer away from shooting things at it or waiting with water!

Any ideas (again!)

Most of the same answers apply as to the cat. I.e. mission impossible.

There are various alleged remedies - renardine, lion dung, gawd knows what else, but I have never heard of anything actually working.

But if it is fox poo you would probably know about it - it absolutely reeks.

Probably the base of the tail would be the most surefire way

I remember Hugh Fearnley Whittingsall saying in river cottage foxes didn't like the smell of human urine and suggesting that you 'mark your territory' so to say.....
However from experience-if it is foxes not much deters them-but you can keep them out with solid perimeter fences

I'll get me little lad out there hotcookie! It'll be a game for him as he's obsessed with standing up and aiming it everywhere anyway!
