At last I am relenting, being a diehard coals man, I now feel the time is right to buy a gas BBQ. That's right, a Gas BBQ!!!
I have always felt that a coal based BBQ makes the food taste best, but I am hosting a charity BBQ in June and will have about 40 guests to feed.
Does anybody have any suggestions on the best BBQ on the market? I have seen a few Outback BBQ's about in garden centres, and have been a little bit staggered by the price tag! However, I am prepared to spend up to £250.
I was just reading the test results of barbecues in the Which magazine (as you do).
Aparently the best Gas one on test is the "B&Q Winchester" @ £120(Well within your budget

) . This one also has the biggest grill area of them all: 65x48 cm. Wouldn't know if that was big enough for your purpose?
But best of all, it has a , here it comes: "Flavouriser" to give the food a more authntic BBQ flavour (and aparently it works).
