Does anyone know anythings about how these were made? I'm just about to buy one and am wondering about insulation, build quality, etc. I suspect that a wooden frame was just erected on a low brick base.
All internal walls are (rickety) stud walls. Should they be replaced? What would be the green way forward?

Let's hope the build quality is better than a 1970's Austin Allagro Hesterleah Big Grin

There were some truly dreadful houses built in the 1960's and 70's which lacked build quality and imagination. I know, I lived in one of them in the 1970's.
Quality built-----to the nearest foot! and that was just the windows!
