Need a equivalent dc14 allergy/animal upright cleaner for approx £100(yes any make but cheaper) any recommendations ?


Tea,coffee,sugar and bicuits next to kettle help yourself. Milk is in the fridge and please do not use the best china *points to mugs by kettle to use *.

Your best bet is to ask all the kind ladies (hope that is not sexist, after all I am a Laydee myself) on the "How clean is your house" forum, they're very useful, I found where Dyson questions are concerned! Good luck on your search! Big Grin

We have one of thses machines. It works well enough, but it's very noisy, and my wife finds it heavy to use.

Go for a Miele - they are brilliant. Dysons have a poor reliability record.

I bought a Hoover Dustmanager Pets Cyclonic Bagless Upright Cleaner from Argos. It was £99 down from £150 and does the job pretty well. We have two cats so there's a lot of hairs...

£99 is perfect but its back at £150!! Good advice and on bugdet !
