Hi, I am in the process of extending the lease on our flat (together with the other flat owners in my block). The free-holder is refusing to reduce his outrageous quote so we have taken him to a tribunal so that a magistrate can decide how much we pay. This whole process has so far taken a year and we have had our case heard by the tribunal only for them to withold the verdict from us (2.5 months now) ... has anyone else been in this terribly flustrating situation? Our lawyer keeps asking the magistrates for a decision but is always rebutted.
