We're about to get a new kitchen on a rather tight budget so had one priced up in Wickes and MFI. We didn't think we'd be able to afford a Magnet kitchen but their sale is good and we had one quoted at the weekend and were pleasantly surprised.
I guess it's about 15% more but I'm sure it's like comparing a Ford with a BMW. To me the additional quality looks well worth the little extra but I was wondering if anyone with experience could comment ?
Does it include fitting? I think it is the overall price that counts. We had a Dilusso kitchen fitted which was half-price in their sale, but fitting and appliances were also cheap which made it a really good buy and comparable to an MFI one (units cheap, but fitting expensive).
I think MFI quality is quite good these days, so I would pick the one you like best, though a Magnet kitchen might be a better selling point if you ever move.
It doesn't include fitting as we can do that ourselves - which is another thing in Magnet's favour as I believe the units come assembled unlike those from MFI/Wickes which I'm told come flat packed...
I'd go with Magnet - the extra 15% will be worth it I'm sure. No one I know who has had a Magnet kitchen has been anything other than delighted - the build quality is generally held to be excellent.

You could fit the units yourselves, whether flat pack or ready assembled but it is better to get a professional to fit the worktops, if you have any corners, because they have all the correct equipment to mitre them and to secret joint them.
