4 bed maisonetteThe "buying a flat above commercial premises" thread reminded me of this. Its been on the market for yonks and the vendors are really up against it. £114k seems pretty cheap for a 4 bedroomed property but: * its above shops...and one of them is a reptile shop for heavens sake! * it overlooks one of the most congested roads in suburban Norwich. Trying to make a right turn onto the main road isn't for the faint hearted * parking might be a challenge with shopper's cars around

So good they printed the description twice  . Reminds me of the time when a former landlord said "did I ever tell you what I keep in the loft"  .

presumably there are no universities near by or this wouldnt still be for sale

Not in close proximity but there is one about 3-4 miles away, and I think two bus trips to get there.

If I was stuck with that property I'd look into buying one of the shops and then sell them together as a pair, hopefully one with parking..
