4 bed maisonette

The "buying a flat above commercial premises" thread reminded me of this. Its been on the market for yonks and the vendors are really up against it.

£114k seems pretty cheap for a 4 bedroomed property but:

* its above shops...and one of them is a reptile shop for heavens sake!

* it overlooks one of the most congested roads in suburban Norwich. Trying to make a right turn onto the main road isn't for the faint hearted

* parking might be a challenge with shopper's cars around

So good they printed the description twice .

Reminds me of the time when a former landlord said "did I ever tell you what I keep in the loft" .

shame about the location, the property looks really nice inside

presumably there are no universities near by or this wouldnt still be for sale

Not in close proximity but there is one about 3-4 miles away, and I think two bus trips to get there.

If I was stuck with that property I'd look into buying one of the shops and then sell them together as a pair, hopefully one with parking..

It does make you wonder what the people who bought it originally were thinking???
