Her kids throwing her knickers over the fence - not sure if the iron bar or stones at my DD was worse though.
We moved after all being woken up by domestic violence at night & my then 5 yo DD repeating the rows she heard.
Don't understand some of the moaning neighbours have read about below - they should try living next to our old ones!

We once lived next door to a couple who used to have sex in their conservatory - and then would accuse us of not giving them enough privacy! We lived in a row of terraced houses, our garden ran parallel to theirs.

Whenever I walked back towards our house from the end of the garden, I would be afraid to even look towards their house, I would avert my eyes in case they thought I was looking! They had a boomin' cheek, really, because they were actually renting their house from us. They were our tenants. Eek

The male partner was pretty handy with his fists, too. He was threatening and intimidating. Angry

The female partner would ring me late at night while her partner was at the pub. She asked me to call the police on her behalf if I heard violence through the party wall... Eek

I was glad when they eventually left. They left owing rent, too. Tenants from somewhere near Hell... Roll Eyes

Big Grin lol

People are just so wierd!

Our old neighbours used to fight after drinking but it pure entertainment as the woman was a diabetic and the man used to take the piss of out her, going "oooh, are you flying high up there wooooo"

They'd scream then a song would come on and they'd sing it together (usually my girl!) lovingly and soulfully and then the second it finished they'd resume screaming.
Quality. We used to turn the TV off for it.

I've *think* or I always thought anyway that it meant darling (or dearest?) daughter, Confused as you see a lot of DD, DS, DH on family type forums.

It's a term I can't bring myself to use. I've only just been able to stretch to 'lol' and that still grates!
I like words myself Smile

My pet hates are CUL8R and M8. It's not a new phenomenon though is it? TTFN is older than me and all those wartime letters that were SWALKed and ITALYed. My grandad told one, NORWICH Blush. Still not sure whether I believe it.

NORWIGH?

Fortunately we don't have to speak text these days as the lord of t'interweb gave us emoticons. There's nothing quite as expressive as a Sausage

I had a landlord during my student days who was also a neighbour....we came home one day to find him sat in our front room drinking with his mates!! his wife didn't like him drinking apparently so he decided it was safer to do it in our house!
